What Prayer Is
Prayer is life-giving. Prayer is soul-stirring. Prayer is empowering. Prayer releases what you stand in need of. Prayer binds the power of the enemy. Prayer equips you with whatever is needed. Prayer activates. Prayer is resourceful. Prayer is freeing. Prayer is burden-barring.
Prayer reassures us, by reminding us of God’s promises. Prayer gives us an opportunity to speak out of our mouths God’s Word, spoken in faith in Jesus’s name, to overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles. Prayer picks up where your intellect, skills and abilities stop. Prayer exposes you to you, when you refuse to see you. Prayer will allow you to listen and hear, not just react.

Prayer brings clarity and increases your confidence in faith. Prayer makes time irrelevant and causes it to succumb to God’s control. Prayer humbles you and invites wisdom when it has apparently eluded you. Prayer invites precision into your most thought-out plans.
Prayer prevents exhaustion, when we have over-exerted ourselves, using our own strength. Prayer brings enlightenment when we’ve totally missed the heart of a matter. Prayer is our way of claiming the biblical truths we say we believe.

If single prayer allows you to invite God into the single phase of your life, allowing Him to mature your emotions, multiply your preparations, and direct you with His strategic guidance, that you may date with His purpose. Prayer exposes the ill intent of men who are hoping to prey on your loneliness and empowers you with insightful wisdom. Prayer positions the hurt that you may have endured from unwise decisions and the unforgiveness towards those who mishandled you to the Master to be removed and healed. Prayer restores your heart of stone to flesh and replaces your harsh coldness with soft warmth, allowing you to be approachable again.
Prayer gives you the opportunity to be honest with God about the sensitive areas in your marriage and in your husband’s life which needs pruning or changing. Prayer allows you to invite God into the Single phase of your life, allowing Him to mature your emotions, multiply your preparations, and direct you with His strategic guidance, that you may date with His purpose. This allows the matter to be brought to the Master, without causing an argument between you and your husband or straining the relationship. It also keeps you from appearing like your husband’s mother in trying to change him but shows the Father that you need Him and keeps Him included in your marriage.

I believe in the power of prayer and the strength of community. If you have a prayer request and would like me to pray with you, please feel free to leave them here. I consider it a privilege to lift up your needs and concerns in prayer. You can submit your prayer requests through the form below, and rest assured that your requests will be treated with confidentiality and compassion. Sis, let us join together in faith and support, knowing that God hears our joined prayers.
